These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AuditReady AI (the "Service"), operated by AuditReady AI ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
AuditReady AI is a self-service SaaS platform that helps companies track SOC 2 readiness, generate policy templates, scan connected integrations (such as GitHub, Google Drive, and Slack) for compliance signals, and produce self-reported readiness scores and reports.
AuditReady AI is not a licensed CPA firm and does not perform certified SOC 2 audits. Readiness scores and reports generated by the Service are self-reported and based on the information and integrations you provide. They do not constitute an official SOC 2 Type 1 or Type 2 report and should not be represented as such to third parties.
You may create an account using GitHub, Google, or Slack OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Audit-Ready) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time, free of charge, through the "Cancel Subscription" option in your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not require a phone call, email, or written notice to process a cancellation.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change our pricing with reasonable advance notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
We offer a free "sandbox" tier with limited features (manual control tracking, score dashboard, limited scan frequency) that does not require a credit card. We will not charge you or restrict your free-tier access to features you were promised for free without your explicit, separate consent to upgrade.
When you connect GitHub, Google Drive, or Slack, you grant us limited, revocable access to read the specific data needed to detect compliance signals (e.g., branch protection settings, security policies, file names). We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
You are solely responsible for the content of any evidence, documents, or files you upload to the Evidence Locker, including ensuring you do not upload data you are not authorized to share (e.g., third-party personal data, credentials, or secrets).
The Service allows you to generate a public "Trust Page" link displaying your self-reported readiness score. You are responsible for how you represent this score to customers, partners, or auditors. The Trust Page will always display a disclaimer that the score is self-reported and not a certified audit. You agree not to remove, obscure, or misrepresent this disclaimer.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that achieving a high readiness score will result in passing a formal SOC 2 audit conducted by a licensed CPA firm. Compliance outcomes depend on factors outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuditReady AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business, data, or audit findings, arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
